Dear Reader,

It was just a month ago that we announced our Fourth Annual Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Family History and Academic Records. Since them, the issues we plan to discuss have been swirling in the media.

First, a question: who keeps the “Obama is a Muslim” controversy alive? We know who did the initial international research and documented Obama’s religious heritage. I did. The media calls Obama’s Muslim heritage a “rumor.” It’s not a rumor. It's an objective and theological fact. (Obama has since changed his religion, but his attachment to Christianity is tenuous and, many suspect, merely a political convenience.)

But who keeps the “Muslim” discussion alive? Surprise, it's Obama himself and the liberal polling firm Public Policy Polling (“PPP”) who keep stoking the Muslim embers. Obama told a Washington writer that Fox News kept the Obama-is-a-Muslim claim alive (link [1]). The truth: most "Birthers” despise Fox News for refusing to cover either the Muslim or birth certificate brouhahas. So Obama was flat-out lying when he accused Fox News of falsely reporting his religion.

Why would Obama lie? Because he is agitating his base. And he’s shaking his money tree. Obama’s extreme base loves to hate Fox News, so Obama can comfortably tell a big lie about Fox and the lie will be taken as truth by Obama’s base. On the Muslim issue (and birth certificate as well) Fox News is “clean.” Obama lies.

Obama also likes to stir up his political opposition by dropping “Muslim” allusions from time to time. He then uses his opposition’s agitation to—no surprise—agitate his own base.

Likewise, PPP keeps asking voters about Obama's religion and family origins. PPP then “reports” on its own inquiries. But PPP never polls Democrats on what they believe about Obama’s religion or family history. Why not? Because the truth would be scary for Democrats.

In the last month the Maricopa County (Arizona) Sheriff has labeled Obama's birth certificate a likely forgery (link [2]). Birthers (no link to Andy) have sued Obama in California (link [3]). My friend Jerry Corsi is launching a new book (link [4]) and the issue of Obama’s heritage keeps growing (link [5]).

So as that “Good ole boy” and “Son of the South” Mitt Romney might say, “Y’all come to Washington for the conference on March 30-31.” I can’t predict what the turnout will be but whoever shows will have an interesting time. We’ll also have new disclosures about our Obama research trip to Honolulu in May as well as other Obama research initiatives. Dear Reader,

For the past there years I have sponsored a national conference on Barack Obama’s family history, focusing on his missing birth certificate as well as his absent academic records. After last year’s conference President Obama produced what he said was a copy of his original birth certificate. Progress comes in small steps.

I am very excited to announce the Fourth National Conference on Barack Obama’s Family History and Missing Academic Records. We will be convening March 30-31 in Washington, DC. As in prior years we will require a nominal registration fee and photo identification so that we can make appropriate space planning efforts. All are welcome.

The national conferences have been followed by research trips to Hawai’i, and we are again planning for the 2012 research trip to Honolulu.

My prior activity has generated intense opposition from Obama’s supporters because my research is conducted on a scholarly basis, without any of the personal attacks and abuses which have been attributed to some of Obama’s other adversaries. Ironically, Obama benefits from the more unhinged elements of the “Birther” community because Obama uses their extreme accusations to energize his own left-wing “base.”

Since 2011 I have also been campaigning as an independent Republican for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination. I’m not expected to win but I do intend to see that Republicans keep an eye on issues involving Obama’s origins. There is no shame in trying to win, even against long odds. Just ask Jeremy Lin.

If you go back and reread what I wrote in my bestselling book (Chapter One), and my Internet columns, many of which you can still find on the web, you will see that in 2007 I clearly predicted the failure of Obama’s presidency due to his lack of leadership potential.

The British scholar Isaiah Berlin popularized the poetry of the “hedgehog and the fox.” (“The fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing”). Obama is a political hedgehog who knows one big thing: how to campaign for office and for his own self-aggrandizement. He does it surpassingly well at those activities. And my Republican competitors still don’t have a clue how to campaign against him.

In my professional opinion Obama cannot succeed as a president because of his personality structure. His mind is hard-wired for obedience and subservience, not command authority. I don’t dislike Obama. He seems a nice enough man. But he is no president and no commander-in-chief; I predicted as much in 2007.

To the argument that Obama “killed” Bin Laden and Al-Awaki, I respond that he was under extreme pressure from the intelligence community to do so. He knuckled under to the spooks when he authorized the termination of those terrorists. Nothing more.

Having studied Obama closely since his days in the Illinois legislature I am probably the only Republican presidential candidate who actually understands Obama’s political DNA and also understands how to defeat him in November.

Unlike Donald Trump, who blatantly lied about sending “investigators to Hawai’i,” and claimed his people were discovering information “you wouldn’t believe what they found,” I do not lie to you or the public, or insult your intelligence.

We can certainly have a civil discussion in Washington about the impact of the birth document Obama handed out in May, 2011. If Obama released a copy of his original paperwork why won’t Hawai’i now provide public access to the original? There has been a total waiver of confidentiality. Maybe a new lawsuit is in order. If Hawai’i continues to prevent access to the original, reasonable people can be suspicious about why that original certificate is being kept from public view. It is a basic principle of scholarly research to examine originals, not copies of historical records. Why won’t Obama formally allow me and other scholars to view the hard-copy original? His continuing secrecy and silence on disclosure may be why tens of millions of Americans continue to have doubts about Obama's origins.

There is a “snake” email that has been circulating for years and claims that Obama’s academic records are going to the Supreme Court for review. I get copies of it periodically. The email is false. Another huckster made a fortune filing bogus claims with the U. S. Supreme Court and asking people to contribute to his scam. There are more anti-Obama hucksters out there. I do not hesitate to expose anti-Obama frauds and fakers.

On the other hand a new book on Obama’s father last year opened up new avenues of discussion about his family origins. There is lots of new material to discuss since the Third Conference in 2011. For example, I am very suspicious why Obama’s administration released confidential government records about his father to a liberal journalist from the Boston Globe and has not made the records available to conservative researchers.

Some people are now filing election cases challenging Obama's eligibility to run as a candidate for president (I am not linked to any of the lawsuits). While most of these have been thrown out, I will be curious to see if anyone can provide a case where actual progress is being made. Way back in 2008 I expressed my doubt that the courts would ever involve themselves in issues concerning Obama’s past.

My conference is designed to provide an opportunity for rational discussion and debate based on the Obama “archive.” Whether you love Obama or dislike him, Obama is a fact of American history. I have helped to write the first draft of Obama’s history. I invite others to join me in discussing what we know, and what we still don’t know, about his past.

There’s a lot to talk about and we will have both a civil and scholarly discussion about Barack Obama’s family history and academic history.

We will also discuss my upcoming investigative trip to Hawai’i to conduct ongoing research on Obama’s family history. You are also welcome to join us in Hawai’i. I still believe my theory (underline: not a “fact”) that Frank Marshal Davis is Obama’s biological father will be vindicated in time. I’d love to speak with Frank’s descendents about my thoughts. DNA anyone?

Martin predicts that on December 6th when she leaves office, Lingle is through as a national Republican.

“Normally I would not comment on a local Hawaiian issue,” Martin says. “I am here on a terrorism investigation and an Obama conference. But I have been reading local reports that Linda Lingle thinks she has a future as a national Republican Party leader. Pardon me, but that’s simply ‘California dreamin’. Lingle is delusional.
“I would never suggest to Hawaiian voters whom they should elect as their local officials (including national offices). Overall, Hawai’i voters have shown a unique propensity to take their wealthy state and to beggar their own economy. I expect more of the same from proto-socialist Governor Neil Abercrombie. Hawaii’s wealth is being frittered away in high taxes and socialist programs that are not sustainable, not even in the short term. As a one-party state, the concept of checks and balances is nonexistent.

“Lingle had eight years to build a sold base for the Republican Party. She failed.

“But Lingle’s failure to grow the Republican Party during eight years in office is not why I think she is through nationally.

“Other than John McCain, who ran a pathetic and incompetent campaign for president in 2008, Lingle did more to elect Barack Obama than any other Democrat.

“Lingle’s dirty tricks on the last weekend of the 2008 campaign, when she told Chiyome Fukino to go out and tell the Associated Press that Hawai’i had Obama’s ‘original’ birth certificate and he was ‘legal,’ was a political dirty trick of the first order.

“The Lingle-Fukino axis has kept on trying to rehabilitate Obama as questions about Hawai’i public records have grown into a national obsession. Instead of releasing Obama’s birth certificate after the election, since the original document had obviously become a national archive of the presidency after the election, Lingle has continued to fight in court to prevent release of Obama's records with the bogus claim that Obama is a ‘private citizen.’

“Lingle also signed the Obama ‘Birther’ bill. That law only became necessary because of her own conspiratorial cover-up activity. Lingle has triggered intense national frustration because of her corruption and manipulation of Hawai’i government to protect the ‘Mysterious Mr. Obama.’

“Republicans are not stupid. They are aware that Lingle bolstered Obama just hours before the 2008 election because she was for Obama despite her nominal endorsement of McCain. If Lingle had released Obama’s birth certificate, we would not be facing the constitutional crisis that exists today, where 100 million Americans have doubts about Obama’s origins. There are serious doubts that Obama is constitutionally eligible to hold the office of president. I place a major part of the responsibility for this mess on Lingle’s doorstep.

“We have the ridiculous situation where today’s Star Advertiser (November 15th) has a story saying UH is fighting for the Obama presidential library, when there is not even a simple plaque anywhere in Hawai'i to memorialize the physical structure where Obama was born:

“No one can say for certain where Obama was born, if he was in fact born in Hawai’i, because there is no public documentation of his birth here. Obama’s birth is shrouded in lies, all of which have been orchestrated and controlled by Lingle’s manipulation of her power as governor.

“The Tea Party does not control the Republican Party. But Tea Party activists are vocal, and they are waiting to have a whack at Lingle. Just ask party officials in Delaware, Colorado, Nevada and elsewhere, states where Tea Party activism took down establishment candidates.

“Tea Party activists will not allow Lingle to ascend to a national role when she was Barack Obama’s saboteur inside the Republican Party in 2008. Payback time is coming for Ms. Lingle; her dirty tricks against democracy and transparency will doom any future national role or support for her once she leaves office on December 6th.

“Be real Linda. Be real. You carried water for Obama and helped elect him in 2008. You helped stick us with the clown in the White House. You have continued to conceal his birth certificate to defraud the American people and to allow a political fraud to reside in the White House.

“Your career as a Republican is over on December 6th. If you run for the senate, I will see to it you have a conservative opponent,” Martin will state.

“Because I am in Honolulu I just had to tell the people of Hawai’i Linda Lingle is delusional. She should not take a 6-month vacation, she should take a permanent vacation from the Republican Party. Maybe Obama will give her a job. She helped elect him.

“Why is there a total lack of any reasonable introspection and examination of Lingle’s nonsense in the local Hawai'i media? Why do media parrot Lingle’s daydreams as rational political discourse? This state is not only a one-party socialist republic; it is a state devoid of any meaningful and intelligent media activity.”

(HONOLULU)(November 13, 2010) Obama conference leader, author and film producer Andy Martin will hold a Honolulu news conference this afternoon, November 14th, to question whether Barack Obama qualifies as a bona fide Christian. Obamacon 2012 now taking place in Honolulu is exploring all aspects of President Barack Obama’s roots in Hawaii, religious beliefs and education both in Hawai’i and on the mainland.

“In preparation for Obamacon 2012 I ‘walked back’ the issue of President Obama’s religious beliefs,” Martin will state. “And I ran into the usual Obama stone wall. Obama has never produced a baptismal certificate or any similar evidence to confirm he was actually baptized.

“I contacted Obama’s former church, Trinity United Church of Christ, and asked them for access to Obama’s baptismal records. Silence. Any records, even a matchbook that Obama may have touched, become ‘presidential’ historical items. Birth certificates, college files and, yes, baptismal records are historical national archives.

“During the 2008 campaign I suggested Obama’s ‘Christianity’ would not survive his inauguration, and I was once again correct. Obama, who claimed in 2009 he was looking for a new parish in Washington, DC, never found one. After a recent controversy over Obama’s Muslim obsession I suggested he would run to the Episcopal Church across the street from the White House and, bingo, he did. With Obama, religion is all artifice and pretense.

“Every Christian denomination of which I am aware maintains records of baptisms, weddings and other solemn occasions. Trinity UCC probably does, although they won’t say. They have imposed the usual Obama ‘iron curtain’ of silence over the issue of Obama’s baptism. Two corollaries naturally flow from the silence of Obama and Trinity.

“First, we are entitled to draw what lawyers call an ‘adverse inference’ from the silence of an individual, or the refusal to produce what would be normal to produce. Obama, if he has a baptismal certificate, should want that document to see the light of day. No baptismal certificate has ever surfaced.

“Second, without Holy Baptism, no one can be a Christian. Anyone can claim virtually anything under the First Amendment. I can claim I am a [Roman] Catholic. But the Roman Catholic Church will not recognize me as a member unless and until I am baptized and follow their procedures. Dear Reverend Moss:

I am writing to you about President Barack Obama. Although I have been a political critic of Mr. Obama in my writing, when I deal with the facts of his life my only goal is to search for the truth and to find the facts about his identity.

Mr. Obama says that he became a Christian at Trinity UCC. I am a longstanding member of the Episcopal Church, although I was actually baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church.

Although I studied for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church I have to admit I do not know much about how the UCC handles conversions and baptisms.

Episcopal theology holds that we become a Christian by Holy Baptism (see attached). My church (and the Greek Orthodox Church) maintain detailed records of baptisms. Some years ago when I lost my wallet, my baptismal church still had the records going back to my birth.

Was President Obama baptized at Trinity UCC?

Do you issue baptismal certificates?

Do you maintain baptismal records?

Are your baptismal records open to inspection and copying by the public or media?

Would they be open if President Obama authorized you to open them? Has he ever done so in the past?

I know you may be reluctant to answer my inquiries because of the past unpleasantness at Trinity involving Mr. Obama but I think Trinity UCC can make a genuine contribution to clarifying just when Mr. Obama became a Christian if he was in fact baptized at Trinity UCC. Or not. My question is essentially neutral: it seeks to establish a fact which may or may not be helpful to authors, researchers and the media in walking back Mr. Obama’s faith history.

If President Obama was in fact baptized at Trinity, I would very much appreciate a copy of his baptismal record or baptismal certificate, and I assure you I will deal with it fairly and objectively. If you maintain a book of baptisms, a copy of the page from the book where his name is recorded would also be helpful.

HONOLULU NEWS CONFERENCE: Obama critics swarming in Honolulu; “scavenger hunt” for president’s birthplace

Obamacon 2012 Chairman Andy Martin will hold a Honolulu news conference today, November 13th, to announce a “scavenger hunt” seeking Barack Obama’s physical birthplace in Honolulu. Obamacon 2012/Honolulu 2010 continues through Tuesday, November 16th.

Both Martin and Daniel Ellsberg are Viet-Nam era protesters who gained notoriety for appearing on “enemies lists” of the Nixon Administration. Ellsberg is speaking at the Hilton Hawaiian Village earlier Saturday. Martin’s peripheral connection to news reports involving the My Lai Massacre in 1969 prompted President Nixon’s ire. Ellsberg was to become the legendary whistle-blower who exposed government lying in the “Pentagon Papers.” Martin will be attending Ellsberg’s speech.

(HONOLULU)(November 13, 2010) Obama conference leader, author and film producer Andy Martin will hold a Honolulu news conference this afternoon, November 13th, to announce that Obamacon 2012 is conducting a “scavenger hunt” for Barack Obama’s birthplace in Honolulu. “Where’s the plaque,” says Martin.

Martin is often called the “King of the Birthers” because of his relentless efforts to force the release of Barack Obama’s original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate, which Hawaii officials confirm exists but which they have refused to release on the basis that Obama is a “private citizen.”

Martin is in Honolulu as Executive Director and Chairman of Obamacon 2012/Honolulu 2010, the first political convention of the 2012 presidential campaign season.

While in Honolulu Martin is also spearheading a separate investigation into potential terrorist threats against Hawai’i and the United States.

“Can anyone show me a plaque commemorating where Barack Obama was physically born,” Martin will ask. “There is no plaque at the address listed in the newspaper reports of Obama’s birth. Obama’s own relatives have given conflicting reports of which hospital was Obama’s birthplace.

“Hawai’i wants to be the site of the Obama ‘presidential library,’ but the state can’t even decide where to erect a plaque to commemorate the president’s birthplace. All modern-era presidents have identified birthplaces. Except Obama.

“Saturday we will begin a scavenger hunt to search for evidence of the actual Obama birthplace. Assuming he was born in Honolulu, as he claims and as the media have argued, then authorities should place a commemorative plaque in front of the presidential birthplace. There is no plaque at present, because no one knows for sure where he was born.

“No hospital is apparently willing to produce the actual documentation needed to confirm Obama was actually born in that hospital. A hospital can’t refuse to release records, if they exist, on the basis that Obama is a ‘private person.’ Obviously he is not. Any records, anywhere, relating to Obama’s birth are historic documents and national archives. Why are they missing? Why the cover up?

“Secrecy about the circumstances of Obama's actual birth fuels increasing public skepticism about just who Obama really is. Are you listening, Barry (Obama)?

“The convention will be providing a post-convention follow-up to the scavenger hunt; we will report on the success or failure of our efforts to identify the actual Obama birthplace and any credible available evidence to support that claim.

“I am delighted that Daniel Ellsberg will also be in Honolulu this weekend. We have postponed our Saturday convention session to the afternoon so that our attendees can also attend Ellsberg’s speech.

“Mr. Ellsberg and I were both on enemies lists of the Nixon Administration. I beat Dan to the draw; President Nixon got mad at me in 1969 as Evans-Novak reported at the time. Ellsberg was pilloried in 1971.

“Ellsberg’s great moral teaching, that governments have a tendency to lie and that lies are intolerable in a democratic society, has to be relearned anew by each succeeding generation of Americans. Liberals are now astounded by Obama’s post-election secrecy and paranoia. As a conservative, I am not surprised. My book ‘Obama: The Man Behind The Mask’ was and remains the predictive ‘bible’ on Obama. I was and still am the only Obama author to speak with an authoritative Chicago voice.

“In 2008, I was a critic of candidate Obama and Dan Ellsberg was a tentative supporter. Ellsberg has since become a critic. But both Ellsberg and I are committed to honesty and transparency in government. We must certainly keep information such as ‘troop movements’ and the like secret. But our ultimate goals and policies in any conflict must be open to congressional oversight and control.

“I don't know how I have managed the somewhat unusual trifecta of being on a Nixon enemies list, and then went on to be the first name on both George W. Bush’s and Barack Obama’s enemies lists, but there you have it. My commitment to the truth spans parts of five decades. I bow down only to the supreme authority of the U. S. Constitution, and not to the temporary occupants of the Oval Office,” Martin will state. “I think Dan would agree with that formula,”

“While Obama is criss-crossing the Pacific and Asia, Obamacon 2012 is pursuing him in a Pacific ‘duel’ between Obama and America,” Executive Director Andy Martin says.

“In 2004 I launched what is now one of the most formidable, if informal, political movements in American history. If Republicans avoid the ‘Birther/Doubter’ movement in 2012 they will lose again. I am working to see that issues about Obama’s character and history are presented in a reasonable and coherent manner during the 2012 presidential election.

“We are welcoming Obama’s Tea Party opponents and observers to the convention. We are a ‘fusion’ movement.

“For myself, I continue to believe Obama was born in Hawai’i. But he is concealing the full information contained on his original 1961 typewritten birth certificate. Why? His secrecy fuels endless speculation. It is time for Obama to tell the truth to the American people and time for Hawaii officials to release the original, typewritten birth certificate. Obama should also authorize the release of his college and law school files, as well as his Trinity United Church records.

“Because Obama has not been candid about his past, nearly 100 million Americans now doubt Obama’s origins. That is an extraordinary number. There is nothing like the Birther/Doubter movement in prior presidential history. As I predicted, ‘character’ issues about Obama that were ignored in 2008 are coming back to life for 2012.

“When 100 million Americans doubt who you are and where you came from, that's not a laughing matter for the president. Or for the United States. When many Indonesians believe Obama himself is Indonesian, we have a foreign policy predicament.

(CHICAGO, IL)(November 3, 2010) Political corruption fighter Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference today, November 3rd, to formally unveil Obamacon 2012, the first convention organized around plans to defeat Barack Obama for reelection in 2012. Obamacon 2012 begins on November 9th in Honolulu.

Because of his relentless efforts to root out corruption in both parties, and especially his own Republican Party, Andy Martin is increasingly known as the conscience of the Republican Party.

“Overall, I am overwhelmed and delighted with the results yesterday,” Martin says. “I was disappointed in the outcome of a few races, but that’s life. We pick up and move on. Overall, there was a stunning rejection of the ‘Mysterious Mr. Obama.’

“We expect to eventually have a headquarters for the 2012 anti-Obama movement in New York, but I will shortly be heading for Honolulu to start organizing the Obamacon 2012 presentation next week. We have an exciting agenda planned for Honolulu starting November 9th and we expect to be leaders in the effort to defeat Obama until a formal Republican opponent is chosen in 2012.

“We have made a few changes to the format of Obamacon. Most of the sessions will now be closed, to protect proprietary campaign data, but we will have media updates and we are hoping to have an upgraded communications package in place for Honolulu.

“Quite by accident, in 2004 I launched what has become one of the most formidable political movements in American history. The media call us ‘Birthers,’ but that is not really correct. I accept the term ‘Birther’ because it is simple and direct and immediate. But we are about much more than Obama’s uncertain birth and family history. I am more accurately described as a ‘Doubter.’ ‘Birthers’ are really ‘Doubters.’

“In 2008 Republican Party leaders were afraid to confront the ‘Birther/Doubter’ questions about Obama and they lost the election. If Republicans avoid the ‘Birther/Doubter’ movement in 2012 they will lose again. I am working to see that the questions about Obama’s character and history are presented in a reasonable and coherent manner.

“For myself, I continue to believe Obama was born in Hawai’i. But he is concealing the full information contained on his original 1961 birth certificate. Why? It is time for Obama to tell the truth to the American people and to authorize Hawaii officials to release the original, typewritten birth certificate.

“Because Obama has not been candid about his past, nearly 100 million Americans now doubt Obama’s origins. That is an extraordinary number. The number will be increasing after November 2nd. There is nothing like the Birther/Doubter movement in past presidential history.

“Over the past several years I warned Obama that if he kept lying and kept hiding, his prevarications would eventually catch up with him. They have. When 100 million Americans doubt who you are and where you came from, that's not a laughing matter for the president. Or for us. He may treat my movement as a joke, but the last laugh will come when Obama moves out of the White House in 2013.

“There is no doubt that the ‘Birther/Doubter’ movement played a significant sub silento role in Obama’s defeat yesterday. ‘Worries’ about Obama involve questions and doubts about his authenticity, loyalty and origins. While these voter concerns may largely be unspoken, they are there. They are real. They are the proverbial ‘elephant in the room’ which Republican leaders ignore at their peril.

“Today in Chicago we put the first foot forward. Next week the ‘tanks will be rolling’ in Honolulu as we formally launch the operation that we hope will defeat Obama for reelection in 2012,” Martin states later today in Chicago.

“I’m asking for contributions to help support and grow the movement. We do more with less than any other national political operation. Help. We can’t defeat Obama with hot air; we need cold cash.

“America is endangered every day that Barack Obama remains in the White House. I was right about Obama in 2008, and I will be right about him again in 2012. Obama must be defeated.”
