(NEW YORK)(March 28, 2011) Corruption-fighting Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin holds a New York news conference today, Monday, March 28th at 1:00 P.M. to personally deliver an invitation to Donald Trump to address the Third National Conference on Barack Obama's Missing Birth Certificate and College Records.

Martin’s original research and bestselling book created the “Birther” movement that continues to fuel doubts about Obama’s origins.

Martin says Trump’s recent comments on President Barack Obama’s missing birth certificate have created what Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera calls a “firestorm” and “hot button issue.”

“I am delighted Mr. Trump is asking intelligent questions, and I am amused the hard left media, starting from ABC News and Barbara Walters on down, are in a frenzy about Trump’s demands,” Martin will state. “I have been writing about this issue for several years; I am called the ‘King of the Birthers’ by pro-Obama stooges. Now they have created the fictitious ‘nation’ of ‘Birtherstan’ to house Trump, myself and over 100 million people who have doubts about Obama’s origins. Maybe Birtherstan is where Obama is building his FEMA ‘camps.’

“Monday afternoon I’m going to try and drop my invitation off at the offices of the Trump Organization. Trump has made the most cogent and perceptive observations of any national figure. Ironically, if you dig into my earlier blog posts at http://www.nationalconferenceonobama.blogspot.com/, you see that Trump’s instincts and mine line up together. Trump says Obama has embarrassing information on his ‘long-form’ birth certificate which is why Obama is hiding behind corrupt Hawai’i officials. For example, in 1961 the term ‘African’ was not used on Hawai'i birth certificates. Thus the ‘certificate’ released by Obama is fallacious on its face.

“The original birth certificate of the president of the United states is a historical archive. Why is Obama hiding the document? Because the original BC obviously contains embarrassing information. Trump and I agree that Obama was most likely born in Hawai’i. Why would Obama allow doubts to fester about his origins? Why indeed? Obama is hiding something.

“Barbara Walters tried to rebut Trump last week by pretending Obama has released his birth certificate; once again, Walters was lying to her audience and using bogus evidence. Obama has spent millions of dollars to conceal his original, typewritten document. He claims a laser-print out from a Hawai’i database is a ‘copy’ of his original document when obviously it is not.”

The leftist media may think these demands are going away. They are not. 2012 is going to be the year we have the election and vet Obama the way we should have and didn’t in 2008.

“We have been planning the Third National Conference since February; we made a hotel reservation back on March 7th. And all of a sudden Trump’s remarks vaulted the ‘Obama birth certificate issue’ into the leftist mainstream media.

“I have no idea whether Mr. Trump is going to run. I do know that if he does not run, my own campaign has been helped immensely by the attention Trump is focusing on the birth certificate controversy. Over 100 million Americans have questions. Why doesn’t Obama have the answers?” Martin demands.

HONOLULU NEWS CONFERENCE: Obama critics swarming in Honolulu; “scavenger hunt” for president’s birthplace

Obamacon 2012 Chairman Andy Martin will hold a Honolulu news conference today, November 13th, to announce a “scavenger hunt” seeking Barack Obama’s physical birthplace in Honolulu. Obamacon 2012/Honolulu 2010 continues through Tuesday, November 16th.

Both Martin and Daniel Ellsberg are Viet-Nam era protesters who gained notoriety for appearing on “enemies lists” of the Nixon Administration. Ellsberg is speaking at the Hilton Hawaiian Village earlier Saturday. Martin’s peripheral connection to news reports involving the My Lai Massacre in 1969 prompted President Nixon’s ire. Ellsberg was to become the legendary whistle-blower who exposed government lying in the “Pentagon Papers.” Martin will be attending Ellsberg’s speech.

(HONOLULU)(November 13, 2010) Obama conference leader, author and film producer Andy Martin will hold a Honolulu news conference this afternoon, November 13th, to announce that Obamacon 2012 is conducting a “scavenger hunt” for Barack Obama’s birthplace in Honolulu. “Where’s the plaque,” says Martin.

Martin is often called the “King of the Birthers” because of his relentless efforts to force the release of Barack Obama’s original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate, which Hawaii officials confirm exists but which they have refused to release on the basis that Obama is a “private citizen.”

Martin is in Honolulu as Executive Director and Chairman of Obamacon 2012/Honolulu 2010, the first political convention of the 2012 presidential campaign season.

While in Honolulu Martin is also spearheading a separate investigation into potential terrorist threats against Hawai’i and the United States.

“Can anyone show me a plaque commemorating where Barack Obama was physically born,” Martin will ask. “There is no plaque at the address listed in the newspaper reports of Obama’s birth. Obama’s own relatives have given conflicting reports of which hospital was Obama’s birthplace.

“Hawai’i wants to be the site of the Obama ‘presidential library,’ but the state can’t even decide where to erect a plaque to commemorate the president’s birthplace. All modern-era presidents have identified birthplaces. Except Obama.

“Saturday we will begin a scavenger hunt to search for evidence of the actual Obama birthplace. Assuming he was born in Honolulu, as he claims and as the media have argued, then authorities should place a commemorative plaque in front of the presidential birthplace. There is no plaque at present, because no one knows for sure where he was born.

“No hospital is apparently willing to produce the actual documentation needed to confirm Obama was actually born in that hospital. A hospital can’t refuse to release records, if they exist, on the basis that Obama is a ‘private person.’ Obviously he is not. Any records, anywhere, relating to Obama’s birth are historic documents and national archives. Why are they missing? Why the cover up?

“Secrecy about the circumstances of Obama's actual birth fuels increasing public skepticism about just who Obama really is. Are you listening, Barry (Obama)?

“The convention will be providing a post-convention follow-up to the scavenger hunt; we will report on the success or failure of our efforts to identify the actual Obama birthplace and any credible available evidence to support that claim.

“I am delighted that Daniel Ellsberg will also be in Honolulu this weekend. We have postponed our Saturday convention session to the afternoon so that our attendees can also attend Ellsberg’s speech.

“Mr. Ellsberg and I were both on enemies lists of the Nixon Administration. I beat Dan to the draw; President Nixon got mad at me in 1969 as Evans-Novak reported at the time. Ellsberg was pilloried in 1971.

“Ellsberg’s great moral teaching, that governments have a tendency to lie and that lies are intolerable in a democratic society, has to be relearned anew by each succeeding generation of Americans. Liberals are now astounded by Obama’s post-election secrecy and paranoia. As a conservative, I am not surprised. My book ‘Obama: The Man Behind The Mask’ was and remains the predictive ‘bible’ on Obama. I was and still am the only Obama author to speak with an authoritative Chicago voice.

“In 2008, I was a critic of candidate Obama and Dan Ellsberg was a tentative supporter. Ellsberg has since become a critic. But both Ellsberg and I are committed to honesty and transparency in government. We must certainly keep information such as ‘troop movements’ and the like secret. But our ultimate goals and policies in any conflict must be open to congressional oversight and control.

“I don't know how I have managed the somewhat unusual trifecta of being on a Nixon enemies list, and then went on to be the first name on both George W. Bush’s and Barack Obama’s enemies lists, but there you have it. My commitment to the truth spans parts of five decades. I bow down only to the supreme authority of the U. S. Constitution, and not to the temporary occupants of the Oval Office,” Martin will state. “I think Dan would agree with that formula,”

(CHICAGO, IL)(November 3, 2010) Political corruption fighter Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference today, November 3rd, to formally unveil Obamacon 2012, the first convention organized around plans to defeat Barack Obama for reelection in 2012. Obamacon 2012 begins on November 9th in Honolulu.

Because of his relentless efforts to root out corruption in both parties, and especially his own Republican Party, Andy Martin is increasingly known as the conscience of the Republican Party.

“Overall, I am overwhelmed and delighted with the results yesterday,” Martin says. “I was disappointed in the outcome of a few races, but that’s life. We pick up and move on. Overall, there was a stunning rejection of the ‘Mysterious Mr. Obama.’

“We expect to eventually have a headquarters for the 2012 anti-Obama movement in New York, but I will shortly be heading for Honolulu to start organizing the Obamacon 2012 presentation next week. We have an exciting agenda planned for Honolulu starting November 9th and we expect to be leaders in the effort to defeat Obama until a formal Republican opponent is chosen in 2012.

“We have made a few changes to the format of Obamacon. Most of the sessions will now be closed, to protect proprietary campaign data, but we will have media updates and we are hoping to have an upgraded communications package in place for Honolulu.

“Quite by accident, in 2004 I launched what has become one of the most formidable political movements in American history. The media call us ‘Birthers,’ but that is not really correct. I accept the term ‘Birther’ because it is simple and direct and immediate. But we are about much more than Obama’s uncertain birth and family history. I am more accurately described as a ‘Doubter.’ ‘Birthers’ are really ‘Doubters.’

“In 2008 Republican Party leaders were afraid to confront the ‘Birther/Doubter’ questions about Obama and they lost the election. If Republicans avoid the ‘Birther/Doubter’ movement in 2012 they will lose again. I am working to see that the questions about Obama’s character and history are presented in a reasonable and coherent manner.

“For myself, I continue to believe Obama was born in Hawai’i. But he is concealing the full information contained on his original 1961 birth certificate. Why? It is time for Obama to tell the truth to the American people and to authorize Hawaii officials to release the original, typewritten birth certificate.

“Because Obama has not been candid about his past, nearly 100 million Americans now doubt Obama’s origins. That is an extraordinary number. The number will be increasing after November 2nd. There is nothing like the Birther/Doubter movement in past presidential history.

“Over the past several years I warned Obama that if he kept lying and kept hiding, his prevarications would eventually catch up with him. They have. When 100 million Americans doubt who you are and where you came from, that's not a laughing matter for the president. Or for us. He may treat my movement as a joke, but the last laugh will come when Obama moves out of the White House in 2013.

“There is no doubt that the ‘Birther/Doubter’ movement played a significant sub silento role in Obama’s defeat yesterday. ‘Worries’ about Obama involve questions and doubts about his authenticity, loyalty and origins. While these voter concerns may largely be unspoken, they are there. They are real. They are the proverbial ‘elephant in the room’ which Republican leaders ignore at their peril.

“Today in Chicago we put the first foot forward. Next week the ‘tanks will be rolling’ in Honolulu as we formally launch the operation that we hope will defeat Obama for reelection in 2012,” Martin states later today in Chicago.

“I’m asking for contributions to help support and grow the movement. We do more with less than any other national political operation. Help. We can’t defeat Obama with hot air; we need cold cash.

“America is endangered every day that Barack Obama remains in the White House. I was right about Obama in 2008, and I will be right about him again in 2012. Obama must be defeated.”

The 2012 presidential campaign begins in Honolulu on November 9, 2010. Barack Obama fooled a lot of voters in 2007-2008. He won’t fool the American People again in 2012.

Our November 9-16, 2010 Honolulu meeting is titled: Obamacon 2012

The “Third National Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Birth Certificate, College Records and Religion” will be a landmark in American political history. Never before have ordinary Americans prepared in advance to legally remove an occupant of the White House due to serious questions about his eligibility to serve as president.

Because I have always limited myself to searching for the truth and finding the facts about Barack Obama, I enjoy worldwide credibility as the first investigative scholar on Barack Obama’s early years. I believe it is inappropriate to attack Obama with anything less than the facts and truth. My book on Barack Obama, “Obama: The Man Behind The Mask” continues to sell through the publisher [OrangeStatePress.com] because it is an attempt to get at the truth behind Barack Obama.

As a result of the efforts which I began in 2004 to shed light on Barack Obama’s family history, nearly 100 millions have eventually come to have doubts about Obama’s credibility.

We are the most spontaneous political movement in American history.

All of you want to discuss and review developments in 2010 concerning Obama’s birth, high school/college/law school records and religion. That’s why we organized the Third National Conference for November 9-16 in Honolulu, the supposed “birthplace” of Obama, although Hawai’i officials continue to refuse to release his original 1961 birth certificate.

Why does Obama persist in refusing to release his original typewritten 1961 Hawai’i birth certificate? Why does he refuse to release any of his Punahou School (Honolulu private school) records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records or his Harvard Law School records? Obama’s says “trust me.” Nearly 100 million Americans do not.

1. Location

The conference will be held in Honolulu November 9-16, 2010. We plan a number of sessions over that period, as well as ample opportunity for you to conduct your own investigative activity and familiarize yourself with the Obama myth.

Obama saboteurs stole the tapes of our first National Conference in Washington, DC. We will ensure they do not steal the tape of Obamacon 2012. For some reason, Obama and his associates are terrified of the investigative work we do on his personal history. What is he hiding? What doesn’t he want us to find out?

2. Hawai’i freedom of information materials

We are still fighting in court to release Obama’s birth records and Hawai’i state records on the political cover-up orchestrated by Hawai’i Democrats.

3. Conference Registration fee and ID requirement

As always, we need some advance indication of how large the attending group could be to make space-planning decisions. Therefore, we have added a nominal $50 advance registration fee which covers all sessions. Please fill out the attendance form and mail it back with the $50 to arrive in New York before November 8th. Please include a copy of a photo ID so we can confirm your identity when you arrive at the conference. (In order to enhance security there will not be any “at the door” registration.) Once we know how many to plan for, we can work out how formal or informal to be.

We are currently scouting meeting options in Honolulu. We will notify you by e-mail as to the locations. You can also follow developments on our blog. We will be using our original blog, http://nationalconferenceonobama.blogspot.com/, for the third time.

4. Conference agenda

In the near future you will be receiving the first draft of our proposed agenda. You are invited to begin submitting suggestions, comments and proposals for any future revisions.

5. All are welcome—but please bring evidence, not illusions

Anyone is welcome to register and attend our conference. But please, if you want to express a theory, bring some rational, tangible evidence to support your claims about Mr. Obama. Those of you who know me know I am committed to working only with accurate information and, as we lawyers say, “reasonable inferences drawn from the available facts or available documentation.”

Pie-in-the-sky will not fly. Hucksters who use bogus documents to obtain anti-Obama publicity only undermine legitimate inquiries into Obama’s opaque past. We need to search for the truth and look for the facts.

6. Security

We will have adequate arrangements for security in case Obama’s desperate sycophants try to disrupt us again.

7. Media

8. Visitors to Honolulu

We selected November 9-16, 2010 for the conference because the dates fall just before air fares dramatically increase for the holiday season. There are many accommodations options in Honolulu. There are two dimensions to the tragedy Obama has inflicted on the American people. After rigorous study I have come to believe there is a compelling case that he is ineligible to serve as president. Welcome to the Second National Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Birth Certificate and College Records. Our meeting begins tomorrow in New York City! I am delighted to provide you with this second progress report.

1. Network interviews before the Conference

We have scheduled network interviews to begin Thursday afternoon. More on the network and actual interviews after they are conducted. As with taping of the conference itself, we offer no guarantees or predictions when the interviews will actually be shown.

2. TV network coverage of the Conference

It now appears that one of the major TV networks (see above) will also tape some of the conference proceedings. We have no idea if and when any tape may be broadcast. Just let us know if you don’t want to appear on tape and we will arrange your seating so you don’t appear in the recordings.

3. Videotaping/Internet posting cancellation

Unfortunately, our plan to videotape the conference and post the proceedings on the network is stalled. We did not receive enough financial support to hire a professional videographer to tape the conference, so we have cancelled our reservation for a videographer. If late-in-the-day financial support still arrives, we will see if someone is available to tape. We can’t do more than the budget allows.

4. Conference location

We managed to find an affordable first class hotel in lower Manhattan. You can expect a “wow” location for the conference. We hope to notify conference registrants and media Thursday evening after we have set up.

5. Obama: The Hawai’i Years

I had hoped we could finish editing our Hawai’i movie by early December but we are swamped with work and preparations for the conference. We will definitely show a rough cut of the movie on a laptop at the Conference and finish the film up for New Year’s.

(NEW YORK)(December 4, 2009) Timing is everything. Earlier this week we formally announced the Second National Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Birth Certificate and school records. As if on cue, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin endorsed our view that Obama should release his original birth certificate: http://www.dailykos.com/tv/w/002387/

Predictably, the mainstream media have launched attacks on Palin, using their same old lies about Barack Obama.

Ben Smith and Jed Lewison of Huffington Post (and Politico.com?) falsely claim that “FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate.” That is a bald-faced lie:

FACT: Obama’s ORIGINAL Hawai’i birth certificate has never been seen by FactCheck.Org or anyone else except possibly Dr. Chiyome Fukino of the State of Hawai’i Health Department. What Smith, Lewison and FactCheck.org saw is a laser print-out of information contained in a computer database. Nothing more. Why do these “journalists” keep lying to the public and claiming a print-out is a “copy?” Why? Whose cause are they really serving with their lies?

FACT: Neither Sarah Palin nor I are “birthers.” “Birther" is a term that the bogus media have invented to disparage persons who make legitimate inquiries about Obama’s origins in Hawai'i.

I have conducted on the scene scholarly research about Obama’s roots in Hawai’i. Our new movie could be released as early as next week: “Obama: The Hawai’i Years.”

What I have asked Hawai’i officials to do is produce their original “ribbon” copy of Obama’s 1961 birth certificate. (For those of you not old enough to know what a “ribbon copy” is, ancient devices known as "typewriters" used “ribbons” to make impressions on paper. Cormac McCarthy’s original 1963 typewriter is about to be auctioned as an antique. The original copy of a document, i.e. the one which the typewriter ribbon actually touched, was known as the “ribbon copy.”)

Hawai’i officials have never released Obama’s ribbon copy of his birth certificate, despite many demands, lawsuits, etc. I am continuing my litigation for access. Because I am currently a candidate for U. S. Senator [www.AndyforUSSenator.com], I was unable to actively pursue the litigation in August-November, but we are gearing up to go back to Hawai’i to pry loose the original, 1961 document once funds are available.

FactCheck.org does not claim that the bogus “original” they saw is in fact the 1961 document, or that their “document” is a photocopy of the original typewritten 1961 piece of paper. On its face the document purports to be nothing more than a database printout. Is this print-out a “legal” document? Yes, it is. But it is not a copy of Obama’s original birth record.

What is the significance of the missing document? The laser-printed output contains significantly less birth information than the original typewritten 1961 certificate.

So where do Sarah Palin and I on the one hand, and “birthers” differ? I have never stated that Obama was born anywhere but Hawai’i; nor, to the best of my knowledge has Governor Palin. We just want to review the original 1961 Hawai'i document to see what information Obama has concealed. It is a perfectly reasonable request to examine the original document because, love him or hate him, Obama is a figure in American history and his original birth document is a historical archive.

“Birthers,” on the other hand, have proffered wild claims that Obama was born in Kenya, or elsewhere. I have looked into these accusations and found no evidence to support them. No one has ever produced any credible or legally admissible evidence to sustain these claims. Bogus media, however like to clump everyone who wants access to Obama’s Hawai’i records as a “birther,” so they can tar and feather us with the antics of kooks such as Orly Taitz, Phil Berg and similar bunkum artists.

There is absolutely no connection between demands that Obama authorize release of what he claims is his original 1961 document and the entirely separate “birther” movement.

QUESTION: If Obama has nothing to hide, why is he still hiding the 1961 original? All he has to do is call Fukino and say “release it.”

Finally, I am gratified that both in her bestselling book and in her comments this week, Governor Palin has endorsed my efforts in 2008 to lay the unpleasant truths about Barack Obama before the American people:

It has been nearly six months since we have had to solicit any financial support for our efforts. The Committee’s financial resources are once again depleted.

Here is what we need:

Second National Conference:

We are convening a Second National Conference on Barack Obama’s missing birth certificate and missing high school/college/law school records. We estimate that the cost of producing the conference will be approximately $2,000, covering space rental, videotaping (for Internet posting), editing, etc. If you can contribute financially to helping us run a successful conference, please do. If you can also attend, more’s the better.

“Obama: The Hawai’i Years”:

Our short film “Obama: The Hawai’i Years” is almost ready to view. We plan to release it before the National Conference in December. We are still short of money to complete the project and are running in a deficit situation. We need $7,500 to finish the project. If we receive $10,000 we will be able to afford to post the entire film on the Internet unedited, instead of posting it on YouTube in short segments.

In the film we ask the questions that we have asked in the past, as well as making new inquiries. We offer some new, expanded answers. And we do so with pictures of Hawai’i and Obama’s early years. And, finally, we point to the unanswered questions about Barack Obama’s family history.

Even though I am very knowledgeable about Obama’s past, actually producing the script and going to Honolulu to shoot the film helped me to probe deeper into the mysteries surrounding the man. Obama’s opaque “roots” are not something that can be deciphered in one pass.

We need your financial support to do justice to the historical research we are conducting and producing.

Unlike some of Obama’s critics, I have been scrupulously honorable and honest in seeking only the truth about him, and trying to find only the facts about his past. Because of my passion for the truth and the facts, I seem to get under Obama’s skin, whereas his critics who float unsustainable theories are ignored. Obama wants to hide the truth; help us in our search for the facts.

The “Second National Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Birth Certificate and College Records” is taking shape. Here is our first update.

Because I have always limited myself to searching for the truth and finding the facts about Barack Obama, I enjoy worldwide credibility as the first investigative scholar on Barack Obama’s early years. I believe it is inappropriate to attack Obama with anything less than the facts and truth. My book on Barack Obama, “Obama: The Man Behind The Mask” continues to sell on Amazon.com and through the publisher OrangeStatePress.com because it is an attempt to get at the truth behind Barack Obama.

As all of you know, I am currently a Republican candidate for United States Senator in the February 2, 2010 Illinois primary. During the past several months I have devoted 100% of my time to the campaign. On December 28th we will be “full-time” on the campaign once again. But there is a brief period in mid-December when we can meet to discuss Obama developments.

I know that all of you want to discuss and review developments in 2009 concerning Obama’s birth and high school/college/law school records. So we are organizing a Second Conference for December 19-19 in New York City. Obama continues to refuse to release his original typewritten 1961 Hawai’i birth certificate. He refuses to release any of his Punahou School (Honolulu private school) records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records or his Harvard Law School records. Obama’s says “trust me;” do you?

1. Location

The conference will be held in New York City December 18-19. We plan a Friday evening session, 7-9:00 P.M. December 18th, and a Saturday morning afternoon session December 19th. The conference will be videotaped for broadcast on the Internet. We are scouting for a meeting location in midtown Manhattan.

Obama saboteurs stole the tapes of our first National Conference in Washington, DC. We will ensure they do not steal the tapes of this meeting. For some reason, Obama and his associates are terrified of the investigative work we do on his personal history. What is he hiding? What doesn’t he want us to find out?

2. Hawai’i freedom of information materials

We received a very generous grant to cover the costs of paying the State of Hawai’i for freedom-of-information materials. Unfortunately, those materials did not arrive in time for our first National Conference. We are reviewing the materials for our New York meeting.

3. Conference Registration fee and ID requirement

As always, we need some advance indication of how large the attending group could be to make space-planning decisions. Therefore, we have added a nominal $35 advance registration fee which covers both sessions. The door charge will be $50 to attend one or both meetings. Please fill out the attendance form and mail it back with the $35 to arrive in New York before December 16th. Please include a copy of a photo ID so we can confirm your identity when you arrive at the conference. (The late fee will be $50 cash only “at the door” with a photo ID.) Once we know how many to plan for, we can work out how formal or informal to be.

We are currently scouting midtown meeting options in Manhattan. We will notify you by e-mail as soon as we choose a location. You can also follow developments on our blog.

4. Conference agenda

In the near future you will be receiving the first draft of our proposed agenda. You are invited to begin submitting suggestions, comments and proposals for any future revisions.

We do have a big “surprise” planned for the conference, of course. That will be revealed at the Saturday morning session.

5. All are welcome—but please bring evidence, not illusions

Anyone is welcome to register and attend our conference. But please, if you want to express a theory, bring some rational, tangible evidence to support your claims about Mr. Obama. Those of you who know me know I am committed to working only with accurate information and, as we lawyers say, “reasonable inferences drawn from the available facts or available documentation.”

Pie-in-the-sky will not fly. Hucksters who use bogus documents to obtain anti-Obama publicity only undermine legitimate inquiries into Obama’s opaque past. We need to search for the truth and look for the facts.

6. Security

We will have adequate arrangements for security in case Obama’s desperate sycophants try to disrupt us again.

7. Media

Media are welcome, but we would suggest you let us know in advance. We will be providing twitter.com updates during the conference (twitter.com/AndyMartinUSA).

8. Visitors to New York City

Just a reminder: December 18-19 is a pre-holiday weekend in New York. If you plan to stay overnight, we suggest you make early plans. A good place to look for affordable lodging is Queens.

We will be issuing updates of this letter, so please feel free to make suggestions.

And please also remember we operate on a shoestring, so contribute any shoestrings you can afford. We are going to issue a separate fundraising letter.

(SPRINGFIELD, IL)(November 12, 2009) Republican U. S. Senate candidate and insurgent “Internet Powerhouse” Andy Martin will hold a Springfield news conference Thursday, November 12th to announce the release of his new film, “Obama: The Hawai’i Years.”

“I am excited,” Martin will state. “Barack Obama has done everything he can to sabotage our film project, and to sabotage me personally. His dirty tricksters constantly harass me with illegal activity. He wasn’t able to stop me or my film.

“The film is an outgrowth of our original investigative trip to Hawai’i in October, 2008. After learning I was seeking an interview with his grandmother, Barack Obama also appeared in Honolulu. Over the past year Obama and his thugs have done everything they can to disrupt my research and investigation into his past:

“Obama attacked me for appearing on Sean Hannity’s ‘Hannity’s America.’ That backfired.

“Obama tried to smear me with a front page story in the New York Times. That backfired. The more Obama tried to stop me, the more I was able to stop him.

“White House operative Robert Gibbs tried to smear me on Fox News. That backfired as well. On and on it goes.

“Why is Barack Obama obsessed with me? Because, unlike many of his critics, I have maintained a scrupulous commitment to searching for the truth and trying to find the facts about this elusive person. That’s why we went to Honolulu, and that’s probably why Obama followed me there.

“We originally planned to release the film last summer. But Obama’s harassment delayed production. Obama’s operatives have stolen some of the tapes we produced last April in Washington. We have filed suit to recover that property.

“We continue to search for the truth and seek to find the facts.

“Our first film is short, but it places Obama’s missing past in visual context.

“There are several critical points I would like to make today.

“First, Obama continues to refuse to release his original typewritten 1961 birth certificate. What is he trying to hide? The facsimile document that he released is missing significant data.

“Second, Obama claims he was born in a Honolulu hospital. That fact is also unproven. The hospital will not release its records.

Unlike some of Obama’s critics, who claim he was born in Kenya, I have found no evidence to sustain that claim. My expert opinion as an investigator and researcher is that Obama was born somewhere in Hawai’i.

“Third, when I speak as a candidate for the U. S. Senate, I am an opponent of Barack Obama’s political agenda. Indeed, I am Obama’s toughest adversary, running in the primary against Obama’s biggest Republican supporter, Mark Kirk. Mark Kirk's political agenda is Barack Obama's agenda.

“Fourth, when I speak as an author/investigator/artist, I speak to the truth, not to an agenda. I have been relentless in searching for the truth and working to find the facts about Obama. I have not massaged the facts of his life to fit my political agenda, and I do not cut my political agenda to conform to his past. The roles of political leader and author/producer are distinct, and I respect that distinction in my work.

“Fifth, when I work as a candidate/political opponent I do inject my views. As a writer/producer, I insert my artistic opinions and my creative analysis.

“Sixth, when we began pre-production earlier this year, Obama was at the peak of his power. It was difficult to obtain financial support. We produced this short feature on a budget. We simply did not have the resources necessary to do a complete treatment. In the film, we appeal for more money to continue our research.

“Now that Obama’s influence has begun to decline, people are renewing their interest in his unknown personal records and opaque family history. Once again, I have one-upped ‘Barry O.’ Because he delayed my project, Obama insured my film would arrive at a time when there is growing public interest in his peculiar biography. My new film is a first step in discovering Obama’s unknown past.

“Seventh, during the past several months, the Illinois process for ballot access, called ‘petitioning,’ virtually took over my life. Petitioning took precedence. Now that I am on the ballot, I have more control of my schedule. When my senate campaign schedule permits, we will again work in the courts to fight for access to Obama’s historical records as well as developing new projects.

“Eighth, Barack Obama would probably not satisfy all of his opponents and end speculation about his past if he released his original files to public scrutiny. But he could eliminate a lot of doubts about him which are held by honest and honorable Americans. That's why I call myself a ‘doubter,’ not a ‘birther.’

“The number of Americans who would like to know the truth about Obama’s past—to see his original birth certificate, his Punahou School records, his college and law school records--is growing.
The doubts which Obama creates with his secrecy will not go away with continued secrecy. They will only become more insistent, more acute and more disruptive for the Obama administration.

“Ninth, this film will disappoint some of Obama’s critics, because I acknowledge that he did in fact get more votes than the Republican, and the means by which this ‘president’ came into being reflects a fascinating story of unlikely people thrown together in an improbable story.

“We try to provide an opportunity for all points of view to be heard. As I immersed myself in Hawai’i history, I came to understand Obama better; I want people to feel we have been fair to Obama, even if he has not been fair to me. That’s the American way.

“Tenth, we plan to post the film in short segments on YouTube, with the same intro and a fund appeal, as well as offering a ‘paid’ version of the uncut production for $9.95. We will start taking orders shortly. We are exploring posting an uncut version on the Internet as well. Funds will be a factor. As always, we are short of cash and working on a shoestring.

“This film is not the last word. It is the first word. I hope to stimulate additional financial support. And more research.

“As a political opponent of Barack Obama, perhaps the most effective and persistent political opponent Obama has ever faced, I want to lead the effort to defeat his agenda in the U. S. Senate.

“Obama has not been able to stop me. Not in 2004. Not in 2007. Not in 2008 and not in 2009. I hope the people of Illinois will afford me the privilege of serving them in the United States Senate. If they do, Obama will have failed, once again, to stop me. Both as a political leader and Obama investigator I have over forty years of television, radio and media experience.

“But as a writer, author, researcher, investigator, scholar and artist, I will continue to study this man’s past objectively: in Honolulu, New York, Cambridge, Chicago and today in the White House.

“Finally, I hope people enjoy this film.
