FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

ATTENTION WASHINGTON, DC DAYBOOK/ASSIGNMENT EDITORS

Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin closes the Third National Conference on Barack Obama’s missing personal records with a news conference analyzing the impact Donald Trump is having on the 2012 Republican presidential race

Martin also accuses Obama supporter and Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts of being a “despicable racist”

Martin plans a Sunday news conference in New York to provide details of his expanded “Birther” TV campaign ads across the United States

(WASHINGTON, DC)(April 2, 2011) Corruption-fighting Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin holds a Washington, DC news conference today, Saturday, April 2nd at 12:30 P.M. to discuss the impact of Donald Trump’s comments on Barack Obama’s “birth certificate problem.” Martin is planning a Sunday news conference in New York to release details of his expanded “Birther” TV campaign advertisements in key presidential primary states.

“I can’t ignore the ‘despicable racism’ of Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts’ comments which greeted our arrival at the Washington conference,” Martin says. “Barack Obama’s lack of birth credentials is not a racial issue. Pitts may be the product of affirmative action, but he has obviously not grown beyond blatant appeals to racism in his dwindling Miami base. With his malignant claims about Obama’s critics Pitts shows that he is as much of an America-hater as Barack Obama. With friends like Pitts, Obama doesn’t need enemies.

“Pitts’ demand that Obama’s critics start screaming the ‘N-word’ show that Pitts himself has not grown beyond that type of racist appeal. See link below.

“I have to say our in-person attendance this weekend was devastated by the negative weather reports,” Martin notes. “Nevertheless, our strength is in our online community. That’s why the co-sponsor www.ContrarianCommentary.com is called ‘The Internet Powerhouse.’ We have taped extensive comments and analysis and they will be on our web sites, etc. in the near future. TV weathermen can't stop us in the long run. Predictions for Washington weather were abysmal. Although those forecasts turned out to be overly negative they killed our attendance.

“But once we post my lecture ‘The Politics of the Birth Certificate Controversy’ on the Internet, people will be able to assess our analysis and use it is a guide to future activity in 2012 presidential politics.

“Saturday we close the second session of the conference with an analysis of the impact of Donald Trump’s ‘Birther’ comments and his impact on the 2012 Republican presidential race, as well as a condemnation of the racist remarks of Leonard Pitts. Needless to say, we’ll have some piquant remarks on Trump’s impact on the other candidates.

“For myself, I am delighted that Mr. Trump has ‘endorsed’ the campaign I have been waging for years, namely to make questions about Barack Obama’s family origins a topic of legitimate discussion in the Republican Party. Thank you Donald.

“The fact remains that I am the only fully and formally announced Republican presidential candidate in the Republican Party primaries. And the only one willing to present the ‘Birther’ case as a legitimate campaign issue. I don’t expect that unique status to change anytime soon, if at all,” Martin says.

Leftist media call Andy Martin the “King of the Birthers.” Andy began his original research on Barack Obama in 2004; Andy’s www.ContrarianCommentary.com columns and bestselling book “Obama: The Man Behind The Mask,” created the “Birther” movement that continues to fuel doubts about Obama’s origins.

In February, Martin began running a TV campaign ad on WMUR-TV in New Hampshire demanding to see Obama’s birth certificate (see links below). Andy has now made arrangements to start airing an expanded schedule of Martin’s TV commercial which have been customized for Iowa and South Carolina (details at Sunday news conference).
